About RuckRadar

Independent rucking gear reviews you can trust. No sponsored rankings. No pay-to-play. Just honest, data-driven recommendations.

What We Do

RuckRadar is an independent gear review and comparison site built for the rucking community. We test rucksacks, ruck plates, boots, apparel, and accessories — then publish detailed reviews with real ratings so you can make smarter buying decisions.

Every product on RuckRadar is evaluated on four core criteria: durability, comfort, features, and value. Our RuckRadar Score (1–10) combines these into a single number you can compare across products.

How We Make Money

RuckRadar is reader-supported. When you buy through our affiliate links, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the site running and reviews independent.

We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

Affiliate commissions never influence our ratings or recommendations. We recommend the best products regardless of whether we earn a commission on them. For full details, see our Affiliate Disclosure.

Our Review Process

We combine hands-on testing with aggregated customer review data from Amazon and other retailers. Our process includes analyzing hundreds of verified customer reviews, extracting common praise and complaints, testing top products in real rucking conditions, and comparing specs, prices, and value across the market.

Product data (prices, ratings, availability) is synced daily via the Amazon Product Advertising API to ensure you always see current information.
